Mr. Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from Florida State University, and earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He was honored as Florida State University's "Senior of the Year" by FSU's Gold Key Honorary and named to "Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities." Mr. Wilson received the Julius Owen Memorial Scholarship in Law, the Dean's Distinguished Service Award, was a student body senator, served on the Moot Court Board, and was named to "Who's Who Among American Law Students." After serving as a state court law clerk and then as General Counsel for Fedchek, Inc. for nearly 3 years, Mr. Wilson practiced for 8½ years with Thomas J. Pilacek & Associates, where he focused his practice representing plaintiffs in civil litigation, as well as police and correctional officers in administrative matters. Immediately prior to joining Jill Schwartz & Associates, Mr. Wilson practiced for 1½ years with one of Florida's largest law firms, Akerman Senterfitt, representing employers and management. He is the current President of the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association, where he served as chairman of the Labor and Employment Section for 2002-2003. Mr. Wilson also maintains a Real Estate Salesman's License. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Wilson is active in charitable service and in his community, serving as a member of the Boards of Directors of Restore Orlando and the Florida State University Alumni Association; as well as past president and current guest speaker coordinator for the Seminole Club of Greater Orlando, and serves as an usher and on the elder board of his church.
